Human Resources at UConn Health is dedicated to providing our employees with the right skills and knowledge to perform their best.

The Online Learning Center, using the Saba learning management system, is a straightforward internet-based system that allows us to align learning and development activities with the University’s mission.

Users

Offering ease and convenience, online learning provides a one-stop-shop for you to enroll in courses, track completion of your learning experiences, and fulfill regulatory compliance requirements in a self-service environment.

Content Developers

Do you want to provide training to specific employees but unsure how to go about it? Human Resources is ready to help you accomplish this goal. Using our online learning system, Saba, you can create training courses very easily. Saba has the ability to assign courses to learners based on job titles, departments or a combination of the two, allowing for specific, targeted training.

Getting your course onto the system is simple. Send your course material, along with any post-test questions and list of assignments, to the Saba Administrator, Christopher Desjardins. It will take approximately one week before your content is ready to be assigned. During that week you will be asked to conduct a review your course for final changes and adjustments on the Saba system.

If you have an idea for a course but need some instructional design help, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will work with you to ensure that your course incorporates the most current adult learning principles and practices.
