Annie Yao receives prestigious F30 NIH Fellowship

Annie Yao, a graduate student in the lab of Dr. Riqiang Yan, has received a prestigious F30 fellowship from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Annie is a fourth year MD/PhD dual degree student.  Her F30 fellowship project is entitled “The role of beta-secretase 1 (BACE1) in modulating excitatory synaptic and circuit function and behavior” and was awarded by the National Institute on Aging.  Annie is also one of ten recipients of the 2022 Diana Jacobs Kalman/AFAR Scholarships for Research in the Biology of Aging.  We congratulate her on these tremendous achievements.
