Sarah Palko, PhD trainee in the neuroscience department has won the Retina Research Foundation/Joseph M. and Eula C. Lawrence Travel Grant for her research project on age-related macular degeneration that she is pursuing in the Mohan lab (Department of Neuroscience, UConn Health). Her research presentation at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Annual Meeting (May 1 – May 7, 2021) will be in a virtual format.
