Sarah Palko, third year graduate student, wins the 3rd place poster award at the 2022 Biomedical Sciences Graduate Research Day. Sarah presented her research conducted in the Mohan lab that identifies a novel target for age-related macular degeneration, which is a leading cause of global blindness. Sarah is also the recipient of the Biomedical Science Service Award in Mentorship for her active participation in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. We congratulate Sarah for her multiple outstanding achievements.
