Ezigbobiara Umejiego, a third-year medical student at the UConn School of Medicine, working in the Mohan lab, presents his project at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology international conference in Denver, CO (May 1-4, 2022). The Mohan lab was awarded an NIH supplement through the National Eye Institute (NEI) to recruit and promote the scientific careers of underrepresented students through engagement in vision research. Mohan’s lab is funded by the NIH grant R21EY032741.
