Health Systems Management (HSM) Curriculum

We have an innovative and non-conventional multidisciplinary approach to HSM curriculum.

A 3 year longitudinal curriculum helps residents learn to work effectively within the transforming health care system while providing optimal care to their patients. Each year will have specific goals and objectives associated with readings, assignments to complete in each block.

Residents learn about patient advocacy in addition to achieving the Quadruple Aim of better outcomes, better value, improved population health, and better experience for provider and patients. Residents get a unique opportunity to learn in a collaborative mentoring environment by experts like the Billing Supervisor, Information and Technology Specialist, Director of Medical Informatics, Research Associate, Pharmacist, Medical Director and Director of Obstetrics in Family Medicine.
