Instructional designers help faculty analyze their curriculum and course needs, and develop materials and activities to meet their educational objectives. Instructional design uses educational theory to develop content that enhances student learning. By understanding various methods to present content, instructional designers can help faculty brainstorm and present their content in ways that enhance student learning.
This 30 minute workshop will provide a brief overview of instructional design, including the ADDIE model, as well as ways to change traditional classroom lectures into online modules. This workshop will help participants see how their courses content can be put into HuskyCT.
