Residents rotate on the oncology services at all three hospitals at some point during their four years of training. As a junior resident the rotations emphasize pre- and postoperative care, rounding with the team and covering oncology and colposcopy clinics. In addition they will learn to assist in major surgeries and perform basic open, laparoscopic and robotic skills. As a more senior resident they will oversee all aspects of patient care and as well as participate in the education of the junior residents.
