Regina James, M.B.A., M.A., C-TAGME
Family Medicine Residency Coordinator
Ms. James began working for UConn Health in 2005. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 2013, graduated in 2015 with an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix University (online), and earned an M.A. in Leadership from Albertus Magnus College in 2018. Regina joined the Family Medicine department in 2015. She began as the residency assistant for the Family Medicine Residency Program, transitioning into the role of assistant coordinator and sports medicine fellowship coordinator in 2016. In 2018, she achieved certification by the National Board of Certification of Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (C-TAGME).
Regina has lived in Connecticut all her life, growing up in Hebron, CT and presently living in Newington, CT since 1986. She loves living in New England with the beauty of its changing seasons.
Stephen Bayley, M.B.A.
Assistant Family Medicine Residency Coordinator
Mr. Bayley began working for UConn Health in 2008. Previously he had been the Instructional Design Specialist in the Graduate Medicine office at UConn Health. In 2007, he earned a M.S in e-Commerce and completed his M.B.A. at The University of Maryland Global Campus in 2008 as part of a dual Masters program. He earned a B.A. in History from Central Connecticut State University.
Mr. Bayley has lived most of his life in Connecticut, growing up in Middletown and graduating from Xavier High School. Mr. Bayley currently lives in Higganum with his wife and two children on a small gentleman’s farm. He enjoys baseball, hiking, Synthwave music. Mr. Bayley enjoys living in Connecticut because you are close to the beach in the summer and can snowboard up north in the winter as well as being close to Boston and New York City.
Lisa Famiglietti
Medical Student Education Coordinator
Ms. Famiglietti began working for UConn Health in 1992. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 1991. Lisa joined the Family Medicine department in 1996 where she held various roles in support of the department administration and education. She has been the MSE Coordinator since early 2024.
Lisa has lived in Connecticut most of her life. She and her husband have raised four children, all of whom have attended UConn as undergraduates – Go Huskies! Although summer is her favorite season, she enjoys the variety of activities each season brings. As her children are of the age to “fly the coop”, Lisa enjoys raising chickens, UConn basketball, traveling, attending musical concerts, and local seasonal events.
