The residents receive their entire patient care experience in one site, the Family Medicine Center at Asylum Hill. Every Family Medicine resident is scheduled with regular patient care sessions per week which increase during each level of training so that by the third year of training, residents have between 4-6 sessions of patient care per week. Continuity of care responsibilities for residents includes active involvement in management and treatment decisions, and interactive communications about management and treatment decisions.
