Community Engagement

The ACGME requires an educational experience in community health and child advocacy. Our program fulfills this requirement in a unique way. In addition to didactic education, each resident partners with a community organization during their residency. This long term relationship results in authentic community partnerships.

Our current partnerships have been featured in local media and have strengthened ties between the organization and our community. These partnerships are resident led and community driven. Learn more about our REACH (Resident Education in Advocacy and Community Health) program.
