Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship

Welcome to the University of Connecticut Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program at Connecticut Children’s. Our goal is to provide our fellows with a well-rounded education in Pediatric Hospital Medicine with a curriculum of robust clinical and non-clinical experiences, with strong mentorship for research, QI, scholarship, medical education, healthcare administration, informatics, and child health advocacy skill development that can be customized to fellow goals through an individualized curriculum. With a strong interest in developing fellow autonomy within a supportive environment, individual responsibilities will gradually increase through direct experience. Mentorship and a focus on well-being ensure our fellows are well-supported in their goals, both professionally and personally.

As Program Director, Dr. Allyson McDermott, along with the Pediatrics Hospital Medicine fellowship faculty and staff have a deep interest in fellow education and will provide guidance and support through the entirety of the program.

On behalf of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine staff, we welcome your interest in the program.
