Favorite thing about UConn General Surgery? My co-residents! Residency is hard and I couldn’t ask for a better group of residents (in every class) to spend these years with. We also get to rotate through multiple hospitals and we get very different experiences at each which I enjoy.
Favorite thing to do in the area/restaurant to eat at: I love to go thrifting. There are lots of great thrift stores in the area. I also love to travel and it’s very easy to get to all of the other New England states and nearby cities. My favorite restaurants/cafes are Blue Elephant and Zohara in West Hartford and Heirloom Market in Wethersfield.
