Favorite thing about UConn General Surgery? At our program, we rotate across five hospital sites ranging from large, urban, trauma 1, tertiary centers to community based hospitals. This provides us with an exceptional spectrum of clinical experiences and diverse patient populations.
Favorite thing to do in the area/restaurant to eat at: I love visiting all of the CT county fairs in the fall. My favorite restaurant is a small Korean spot called Angry Tofu.

Favorite thing about UConn General Surgery? We get a very diverse experience with different hospitals, different patient populations, and different surgical services from early on. All the faculty I've worked with are very approachable, easy to work with, and are very engaged with teaching.

Favorite thing about UConn General Surgery? The people! Everyone is very team-oriented and focused on learning. I couldn’t ask for a better group.
Favorite thing to do in the area/restaurant to eat at: My favorite thing to do in my free time is play golf, there are a number of great public courses around. There are also so many great restaurants in the area, but sitting outside at Butchers and Bakers across from John Dempsey hospital is the best.
