Throughout the year we have multiple well-being activities for the residency. We have exercised together, been educated about nutrition, and gone bowling. Residents are also given the gift of time to do what they wish as part of the well-being program. Residents have chosen to spend this time with family, take care of medical appointments, or just relax and read a book. We consider well-being a priority and truly believe that you cannot take care of patients if you do not take care of yourself.
UConn School of Medicine Graduate Medical Education is committed to supporting the well-being of all our residents and fellows during their training program. For a full list of resources offered through UConn Health, the Capital Area Health Consortium and the broader community, please visit the Graduate Medical Education Office Well-Being website.
