Dr. Seetharama board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and has subspecialty certification in spinal cord injury rehabilitation and sports. He helped establish the Spinal Cord injury rehabilitation continuum at Hartford Hospital and Hospital for Special care. As medical director of Sports Rehabilitation he developed the Concussion Management pathway directed towards high school and middle school sports. He established and continues to manage the first nonoperative spine wellness care center at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT. He helped establish Dreaming and Working Together, a nonprofit organization that provides medical mission to Lima, Peru.

His areas of interest include spinal cord, adolescent concussions, sports and musculoskeletal medicine, orthotics and prosthetics, academics, and research.
