Program Overview

  • The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Program at the UConn School of Medicine and Connecticut Children’s prepares individuals to become leaders in the field by providing the highest quality training in the care of pediatric inpatients and newborns through exceptional clinical care, professional skill development, research and scholarship.
  • Throughout fellowship, fellows serve as leaders of multidisciplinary teams providing patient care, educators to pediatric and family medicine residents and medical students, stewards of the principles of patient safety and quality improvement, and innovators through contributions to science.
  • The division has over twenty PHM board-certified faculty, and a growing group of 15+ pediatric acute care advanced practice providers. Connecticut Children’s is home to a full range of pediatric subspecialties and ancillary services.
