REDCap accounts are available to all University of Connecticut and UConn Health faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students for research-related purposes.
External user accounts will be given to non-UCH users via sponsorship by their UConn/UCH Principal Investigator (PI). On the application, they need to identify their UCH/UConn PI. We will then create an external account for them, which is linked to the PI’s account (thus, the PI must already have a REDCap account). External non-UConn/UCHC users will not have the ability to create new projects; they can only access projects to which they are formally added.
Once all of the requirements below are met, to request access to REDCap, please complete and submit the REDCap Account Application.
- All REDCap users are required to use their institutional email address – NO personal email addresses (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) are acceptable. No generic or multi-user accounts can be granted.
- All REDCap users must complete the appropriate institutional and federal regulatory requirements per IRB of record (i.e., CITI Courses, HIPAA training, etc): UConn, UCH, or external equivalent.
