4/25/2019 | Integrating Video Into Higher Education | A lunch & learn to introduce and discuss the integration of video (Kaltura) in Higher Education. Some best practices and use case examples will be shown for faculty and staff to understand how to navigate through Kaltura, the university’s flagship video hosting service. We will also discuss instructional design best practices for video creation. To tie this all together, we will use the LMS (Learning Management System) HuskyCT to show how the videos can enhance learning for students. Location Classroom B9. 5/30/2019 | Collaborate & WebEx Basics | Collaborate and WebEx are two exciting video conferencing tools that the university offers for staff and faculty. At our next Lunch and Learn Workshop we will introduce you to both of these technologies and explain sample use cases for each. AITS will be showing faculty and staff how to setup and use Collaborate and WebEX and also give a demonstration of our newest innovative technology a WebEx board. While not required, bringing a laptop with you to this session would allow for active participation in the session
