Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic
At the Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic, Dr. Neha Jain and Dr. Kristina Zdanys collaborate with geriatricians and other colleagues at the UConn Center on Aging to assess and treat mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, and cognitive disorders. They also work with the James E.C. Walker Memory Assessment Program to provide support to patients and families coping with behavioral and neuropsychiatric symptoms seen among patients with dementia.
Dr. Jain and Dr. Zdanys lead the geriatric psychiatry outpatient services in several locations at UConn Health.
At 10 Talcott Notch, Dr. Zdanys leads a clinic for medication management of mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, cognitive disorders, and behavioral and neuropsychiatric symptoms seen among patients with dementia. At this time, the clinic at Talcott Notch is only accepting referrals from UConn Health physicians.
Dr. Jain sees both adult and geriatric patients at the Mood and Anxiety Clinic, located in the Main Building. She also offers a recurring 12-week late-life depression and anxiety group psychotherapy program for those 65 and older.
