Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides assessment, brief counseling and referral services for employees and their immediate family members. We work to identify and resolve any personal concerns that may be affecting you, your family, or your job.  EAP services are free and confidential!

EAP can help with

  • Improving relationships
  • Balancing work and personal life
  • Coping with grief and loss
  • Managing stress and change
  • Enhancing self-care
  • Dealing with emotional concerns
  • Addressing substance use issues
  • Resolving conflicts

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is part of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at UConn Health’s Farmington campus. Our division provides a multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation of complex medical problems related to the workplace and/or the environment. We have been providing EAP services since 1992. Our client organizations represent diverse populations that range in size from less than 10 to over 4,000 employees. We are proud to be a part of one the region’s premier research and health care institutions.
