Dr. Sadiq

Dr. Immad Sadiq is the Program Director for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program at Hartford Hospital and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

He received his undergraduate degree from Government College Lahore and his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College. He did internal medicine and Cardiovascular Disease training at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. He did his Interventional Cardiology at Hartford Hospital in 2003, Vascular, and Endovascular Medicine fellowship training at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Boston Massachusetts in 2004. He joined the cardiac catheterization lab at Hartford Hospital in 2010.

Dr. Ingrassia

Dr. Joseph Ingrassia is the Director of Vascular and Endovascular Medicine at Hartford Hospital and is clinical faculty of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Ingrassia received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He did his internal medicine and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He did an additional year of Interventional Cardiology training at Hartford Hospital and a year of Vascular and Endovascular fellowship training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He joined the Hartford HealthCare Heart and Vascular Institute in 2020.

Dr. Craig Thompson

Dr. Craig Thompson is the Director of Interventional Cardiology at Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute.

Dr. Thompson joined Hartford Hospital in 2021 as the Director of Interventional Cardiology at the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS, and did his internal medicine training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He did his Cardiovascular fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and his Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and received his Master's of Medical Science (M.M.Sc.) in Clinical investigation with Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Harvard Medical School Health Sciences Technology joint program.

Dr. Azemi

Dr. Talhat Azemi is the Program Director of the Structural Heart Fellowship program as well as the Associate Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab at Hartford Hospital. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Azemi received his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He did all his training, including internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology at Hartford Hospital. He joined the cardiac catheterization lab at Hartford Hospital in 2012.

Dr. Fram

Dr. Daniel Fram is the Co-director of the CTO program at Hartford Hospital and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Fram received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He did his internal medicine training at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training at University of Connecticut. He did two years of Interventional Cardiology training, one at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine program and an additional year of Interventional Cardiology fellowship training at Hartford Hospital. He joined the cardiac catheterization lab at Hartford Hospital in July 1991.

Dr. Jawad Haider

Dr. Jawad Haider is the Co-Director of the Structural Heart Program at Hartford Hospital and clinical faculty of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Haider received his medical degree from The Aga Khan University Medical School in Pakistan. He did his internal medicine training at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and subsequently did his Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Connecticut. He completed his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. He joined Hartford Hospital as an interventional/structural cardiologist in 2021.

Dr. Joshi

Dr. Saurabh Joshi is an interventional cardiologist at Hartford Hospital and is clinical faculty of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Joshi received his medical degree from Gauhati Medical College. He did his internal medicine training at Saint Vincent Hospital in Massachusetts and his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He did an additional year of Interventional Cardiology training at Hartford Hospital and joined the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute in 2020.

Dr. Sarfaraz Memon

Dr. Sarfaraz Memon is clinical faculty at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

He received his medical degree from the Isra University Pakistan. He did his Internal medicine training at Queens Hospital Center Program, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY. Subsequently, he did Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at University of Connecticut Hartford Hospital program followed by Structural Heart fellowship at Hartford Hospital. He joined the Hartford Hospital as an interventional/structural cardiologist in 2023.

Dr. Boskey Patel

Dr. Boskey Patel joined Hartford Hospital/Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute in 2023 as an interventional cardiologist.

Dr. Patel received her undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. She did her internal medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, followed by a one-year echocardiography fellowship via Boston Medical Center at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center (VA Boston Healthcare). She completed her general cardiovascular fellowship at Saint Vincent Hospital and an interventional cardiology fellowship at the Lahey Clinic (Lahey Hospital and Medical Center) in Massachusetts.

Dr. Piccirillo

Dr. Bryan Piccirillo is clinical faculty of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Piccirillo received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He did his internal medicine training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Boston Medical Center. He then completed his interventional cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Intervention, and Structural Heart Disease Intervention fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He joined the cardiac catheterization lab at Hartford Hospital in 2018.

Dr. Rizvi

Dr. Asad Rizvi is clinical faculty of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Rizvi received his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College. He did all his training, including internal medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Hartford Hospital. He joined the cardiac catheterization lab at Hartford Hospital in 2014.
