At UConn, we understand the importance of promoting a healthy work-life balance. Fellowship is a time of intense training, so we encourage our fellows to prioritize their mental and physical well-being in an effort to reduce burnout and build resilience. We are a close-knit group that trains two fellows per year. This allows us to focus not only on excellent fellow training but also on fellow needs and well-being. Our fellows have the opportunity to closely interact with surgical ICU fellows.
