Emergency Medicine Critical Care (EMCC) Track

Welcome to the UConn Emergency Medicine Critical Care Track of the Anesthesia Critical Care Medicine Fellowship. We offer a two-year comprehensive, interdisciplinary fellowship to train the next generation of emergency medicine critical care leaders.

Our first-year EMCC fellowship program is ACGME accredited. It is based in the Department of Anesthesiology with clinical rotations at UConn Health, Hartford Hospital, and The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

Our second-year EMCC fellowship program is non-ACGME accredited. It is based in the Department of Emergency Medicine with clinical rotations at Hartford Hospital and The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

Our fellows will be training alongside fellows in other critical care fellowship programs, offering a rich environment for interdisciplinary training.

Graduates, after completing a two-year fellowship program, will be eligible for board certification in critical care medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology.
