UConn Health established the Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Residency Training Program in 1971. We offer a well balanced, comprehensive exposure in all aspects of otolaryngology - head and neck surgery, including:
- general otolaryngology,
- head and neck surgical oncology,
- plastic and reconstructive surgery,
- otology and neurotology,
- pediatric otolaryngology,
- rhinology and skull base surgery,
- sleep disorders/surgery,
- laryngology/voice disorders, and
- facial trauma.
We fill our three positions through the ERAS Otolaryngology Match Program.
Our program utilizes the combined resources of UConn Health, with its full-time faculty and research facilities, as well as three other affiliated institutions. This assures exposure to a large clinical volume in both inner city and suburban settings. These experiences, in combination with essential academic activities, including dedicated research time, and a culture of inclusivity, form the foundation for a robust training in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery that positions our residents for success.
We thank you for your interest in our program. You are invited to visit our web site as you explore residency opportunities in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery.
