Liza is responsible for work involving program support for the Office Faculty Affairs by assisting with a wide range of administrative, logistical, and programmatic responsibilities related to a variety of topics including:

• Department / Type II Center Reviews
• Faculty Spotlight
• Faculty development workshops, programs, and events
• Senior Appointments and Promotions Committee (SAPC)

Additionally, Liza facilitates the selection of professional category process and attestations of required learning following faculty appointment.

Prior to joining UConn Health, Liza served as Operations Director and Program Director at Outside Perspectives, a nonprofit dedicated to youth development through outdoor adventure. With a strong background in program development and operations, she is passionate about building systems that strengthen institutions and create meaningful impact.
