Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at the University of Connecticut is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual for an ACGME accredited Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology Fellowship for the academic year 2025-2026. This fellowship offers extensive training and experience in musculoskeletal imaging, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and interventional procedures. The fellow will work closely with our experienced faculty and gain exposure to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform and interpret a variety of MSK imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiography.
2. Participate in MSK interventional procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies.
3. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.
4. Engage in academic activities, including teaching radiology residents and medical students.
5. Conduct research projects with opportunities for publication and presentation at national conferences.
6. Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, case conferences, and journal clubs.

Qualifications

1. M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
2. Completion of a residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
3. Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
4. Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut.
5. Strong interest in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Commitment to academic excellence and clinical care.
