Position Overview
The Department of Radiology at the University of Connecticut is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual for an ACGME accredited Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology Fellowship for the academic year 2025-2026. This fellowship offers extensive training and experience in musculoskeletal imaging, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and interventional procedures. The fellow will work closely with our experienced faculty and gain exposure to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a variety of MSK imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiography.
- Participate in MSK interventional procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Engage in academic activities, including teaching radiology residents and medical students.
- Conduct research projects with opportunities for publication and presentation at national conferences.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, case conferences, and journal clubs.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut.
- Strong interest in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence and clinical care.
