The University of Connecticut Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship at the Connecticut Children's primary training site is a 187-bed pediatric hospital that is home to most of the pediatric academic subspecialty divisions. The Pediatric Pulmonary Inpatient Service has an average daily census of four to eight patients. The Pediatric Pulmonary Outpatient Service presently sees over 3,600 clinic visits per year, including 600 new patient referrals.
