Eligibility
Applicants must have completed PGY-1, be in good academic standing, and have the support of their Program Director. The track is open to residents across specialties who are able to commit to the longitudinal nature of the program. Applications typically are released in February.
Participant Expectations
- Two-year commitment
- Minimum of 75 percent attendance at scheduled sessions
- Completion of a capstone project
- Active engagement in service and community-based activities
Participants are expected to engage consistently throughout the track, contributing to discussions, experiential learning activities, and community partnerships while applying course concepts to real-world settings.
Application Requirements
- Short statement of interest
- Project idea, if applicable
- Program Director letter confirming support for:
- Participation in evening or night meetings
- Completion of the capstone project
- Attendance at biannual full-day community retreats
The Program Director letter should also confirm that the applicant is in good academic standing.
Fellow Considerations
Fellows in one-year training programs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Due to the compressed timeline, fellows must be able to participate fully in all required activities and are expected to apply with a clearly defined, feasible capstone plan at the time of application.
