A goal of the HDT is to provide not only a meaningful curricular experience, but one a busy resident and fellow can meaningfully participate in. Excluding the 6-month retreats, the average workload for each resident and fellow should be estimated to be 5-10 hours/month depending on the depth of their capstone project.
Below is a summary of the core components of the track.
- Curriculum: 12 Session every other month for 2-years
- Volunteerism: 15 hours over 2 years
- Capstone: Longitudinal project with mentor support
