Support Group
The UConn Health Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Center Support Group welcomes new and established members to exchange ideas, share experiences, and connect with one another about life with Parkinson’s disease. Attendees include people with Parkinson’s disease, family members, caregivers, and friends. We discuss helpful tips and resources and invite guest speakers to provide education on topics requested by our group members.
When: First Thursday of each month; 2 to 3 p.m.
Where: UConn Health Outpatient Pavilion, 3rd Floor East, Large Conference Room (Currently Virtual Via Webex)

Parkinson's Foundation Ambassador
Our movement disorders nurse has been granted the title of Parkinson's Foundation Ambassador and is dedicated to patient and caregiver education. This program is also responsible for outreach programs that will allow for early identification of symptoms and improved management of Parkinson’s disease.
