If you have any work related incident such as a needlestick, exposure, or fall, you must:

• Seek medical help IMMEDIATELY at current facility.
• During the day go to the Employee Health Office where injured.
• During off-hours go to the Emergency Department. Identify yourself as a Consortium employee (UConn resident) and state that your injury is work related at the local site.
• DO NOT USE YOUR INSURANCE CARD. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT BILLED PERSONALLY.
• Leave a message at the Consortium office (860-676-1110) with name and beeper # within 24 hours of injury.
• Follow up at Occupational Medicine where the injury occurred as if you were an employee working at that facility.
