Administrative Director Nancy Boccuzzio is responsible for directing and managing the operations and processes of the Office of Faculty Affairs, including:

• Faculty appointments and offer letters
• Faculty reappointments
• Calculation and tracking of promotion and tenure timelines
• Junior rank promotions
• Sabbatical leaves
• Emeritus appointments
• Grievance and appeals procedures
• Faculty Spotlight
• Faculty governance elections, per the School of Medicine Bylaws, on behalf of the Dean’s Council

Nancy received her degree in legal studies and paralegal certification from the University of Hartford. Prior to joining UConn Health in 2012, she worked in human resources in the public school system, and spent many years as a newspaper columnist and on-camera interviewer for a public affairs program.
