The Preventive Cardiology program at UConn Health is dedicated to reducing cardiovascular disease throughout Connecticut. Cardiovascular disease is the world's number one cause of death, and up to 80% of those deaths may be preventable. Through screenings, education, medication management, and lifestyle changes, you can manage high cholesterol and prevent heart disease.
