Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic
The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic at UConn Health serves children from 4 to 17 years old who have behavioral health difficulties and early-onset psychiatric disorders. Located 10 minutes from UConn Health offices in West Hartford, the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic is the primary UConn Health teaching site for outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry.
Medical students and adult psychiatry residents also participate in educational experiences within the clinic. Pediatrics and adolescent medicine are co-located within the same facility, allowing the child psychiatry resident opportunities to develop skills in consultation with pediatric primary care physicians.
Our team includes psychiatrists who provide evaluation, medication management, and school consultations and psychologists who offer individual, family, and group therapy and testing services.
