Sugar Sweetened Beverages
The sugar sweetened beverage curriculum focuses on disseminating short, simple, and relevant bytes of information about sugar sweetened beverages to caregivers of preschool age children. The curriculum consisted of 10-week lesson plans and was delivered by UConn undergraduate students at the intervention schools. Students were appropriately trained on how to deliver the messages. The curriculum included material for the students, material for the parents via informative handouts, a display board, description of the activity for the week, and an activity evaluation.
