Lower Body Lift (Belt Lipectomy)

The lower body lift, much like body contouring, is a common procedure after massive weight loss. As a result of significant weight loss, you may have excess skin that has lost its elastic quality and now loosely hangs off of your body, unable to shrink back to its original smaller size or shape. In addition, significant weight loss can greatly weaken your underlying tissue structures, making it hard or nearly impossible to restore muscle tone.

This surgery is made up of multiple procedures that are designed to contour the lower half of your body. The lower body lift can eliminate loose excess skin and optimize the contour of your midsection, while also repairing the underlying tissue structures throughout your abdomen, thighs and buttocks.
