Blood Draw
Our goal, in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, is to provide the best possible clinical laboratory service to patients in the greater Hartford area. To do so, we have state-of-the-art laboratories, providing routine and esoteric testing. All patients are welcome and only need a signed physician's order for laboratory work. Results for UConn Health doctors are available electronically as soon as the work is completed and reviewed. Tests ordered by physicians outside of UConn Health are mailed or faxed to the ordering doctor, and critical results are called by telephone. UConn Health participates with most insurance plans.

- Scheduled appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all locations. Walk-ins are welcome at any time during location business hours.
