Supporting Teens’ Adjustment and Resilience Study (STARS)

As of July 2025, we have finished signing up families for STARS. Twenty-four families (a parent and a youth aged 11-14) participated in the study, which included a visit to our lab followed by two weeks of brief surveys completed at home, 3 times per day. Thank you to all the STARS families!

We are now looking at the data we collected to learn about emotions in families and the strategies that youth use to manage their feelings. Our hope is that what we learn will help us to better support parents and youth.
