Volunteer Opportunities

Undergraduate Research Assistants: Undergraduate students who have taken courses in psychology, social work, or a related field and who are in excellent academic standing may apply to gain research experience in our laboratory. Research activities may include interacting with human research participants, data collection and management, and guided data analysis. Interested students should send an email with their resume or curriculum vita, 2-3 academic references, and a description of relevant coursework to dgrasso@uchc.edu, mbriggsgowan@uchc.edu or cgreene@uchc.edu.

Graduate Research Assistants: Graduate students in psychology, social work, or a related field who are in excellent academic standing may apply to gain research experience in our laboratory. Research activities may include conducting semi-structured clinical assessments, facilitating observational laboratory assessments, data collection and management, data analysis, and manuscript preparation. Interested students should send an email with their curriculum vita, 2-3 academic references, and a description of relevant coursework and research experience to dgrasso@uchc.edu, mbriggsgowan@uchc.edu or cgreene@uchc.edu.

High School Research Assistants: High school students interested in gaining research experience in psychology and who are in excellent academic standing may apply to work in our laboratory through the UConn High School Research Mentorship Program. Students will gain fundamental skills in conducting human subjects research. Interested students should contact Dr. Marc Hansen to initiate the process. A reference letter from a school advisor will be required.
