Lab Rotation Availability Info

Ph.D. in Biomedical Science Program Lab Rotation Availability for incoming 1st Year students

Incoming students to the Biomedical Science PhD program will register for MEDS 6503: 1st Year Graduate Experience in Biomedical Science.  The course includes a 4 week exploratory period at the beginning of the Fall semester to learn about each of our seven areas of concentration, including what types of research are being conducted and which professors have space available in their labs for rotation and thesis students.  This will allow students time to meet with and select labs for their rotations.  There will be one lab rotation in the Fall following the exploratory period, and two rotations in the Spring (see rotation block time periods below).  Students will be required to complete all three lab rotations prior to selecting their thesis advisor.

Below is a list of faculty members who responded that they are current accepting students for lab rotations by rotation block. To view more information on the faculty member, their research and contact information, click on their name.
