The UConn Ophthalmology comprehensive eye care team provides caring and advanced preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for eye conditions such as dry eye, diabetic and hypertension related eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, post-cataract surgery laser treatment (laser capsulotomy), contact lens complications, and macular degeneration.

Your eye exam will include a thorough evaluation of your ocular health and visual function and typically consists of a review of your medical history and issues you may be having along with a measurement of your need for glasses (refraction), and a complete ophthalmic examination which includes dilation. Our team of experts will discuss findings with you and if needed develop a treatment plan.
