Education and Training
The faculty of Ophthalmology is dedicated to the education and development of the next generation of physicians. Medical students, residents, and fellows are provided an opportunity to develop their ophthalmology skills and advance their ophthalmic knowledge in an environment of exemplary clinical care.
If you are student or resident interested in ophthalmology, please send your request via email to Dr. Jeanine Suchecki. In Ophthalmology, we provide first, second, third, and fourth year experiences, shadowing, and mentoring. In addition to our third year student rotation, we have Student Continuity Practice (SCP) for those interested in ophthalmology as a career as well as electives for anyone with an interest in learning more about ophthalmology.
