UConn Health's Department of Neurology provides a wide array of clinical services and sub-specialties that combine the best of medical evidence and cutting edge technology to provide patient centered care and peace of mind for your family. Our dedicated faculty, staff and residents provide acute and ongoing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. We treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles, using the most current medical evidence to offer the best care possible. Our fellowship-trained faculty have expertise in stroke, seizures, dementia, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, and neurocritical care. We also provide a variety of specialized testing and services.

Meet Dr. Matthew Tremblay

UConn Health welcomes Dr. Matthew Tremblay, a neurologist specializing in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). He directs the MS clinic in the Department of Neurology, managing patients with multiple sclerosis and related disorders including neuromyelitis optica (NMO), neurosarcoidosis, and autoimmune encephalitis. Dr. Tremblay also conducts clinical and translational research related to MS.
