UConn Health enters into numerous contracts every year with individuals and companies here in Connecticut and around the globe in support of its mission of providing outstanding health care education in an environment of exemplary patient care, research and public service. Every department at UConn Health relies on products and services obtained through contracts. Many UConn Health departments also generate revenue by providing contractual services to outside entities.
The Contracts Department supports UConn Health’s mission by utilizing our contracting expertise to efficiently manage contract creation and execution while minimizing risk, facilitating positive internal and external contracting relationships, and ensuring contract compliance with federal and state laws and regulations as well as UConn Health policies and procedures.
