The Cell Biology Area of Concentration within the Biomedical Science Ph.D. program offers a program of study with comprehensive training in modern molecular and cellular research. The concentration is composed of faculty from basic as well as clinical departments of UConn Health, all of whom are conducting state-of-the-art research in wide ranging areas of Biomedical Sciences. The fundamental philosophy of the Cell Biology concentration is to advance knowledge in basic and clinical problems from the cellular and molecular perspective.
