Our Dentists
The faculty, residents, students, and staff of the UConn School of Dental Medicine are here to provide you with the best dental treatment available.
When you contact us, you will receive an appointment for a brief oral and dental examination to determine your general treatment needs, make an assessment, and assign you to the appropriate clinical setting for your care. The Dental Care Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours until 7 p.m. in many areas.

Student Clinics
As an academic medical center, UConn Health’s Student Clinics offer patients comprehensive dental care in a comfortable environment provided by dental students under the supervision of experienced and licensed clinical faculty. Although the time required to complete treatment in our student clinics is longer than in a private practice setting, fees are generally 75-80% less.
Resident Clinics
Resident Clinics offer both comprehensive and specialized treatment with care provided by graduate dentists receiving advanced training. Residents provide care under the supervision of experienced and licensed clinical faculty and care will generally take less time than with our student providers, however, the fees are generally 40-50% less.
University Dentists
University Dentists is a group practice comprised of highly trained and academically based faculty who provide comprehensive and specialized care in all fields of dentistry. Our experts work separately or together to help you to achieve and maintain optimal oral and dental health. University Dentists offers complete diagnosis, contemporary treatment, and comprehensive follow-up services as well as consultations.
