Neck Lift

The neck is one area that is particularly vulnerable to sagging and wrinkling. A neck lift is quite common because the face may not yet show signs of aging, while the neck has developed what is commonly called a “turkey waddle” or double chin. A neck lift, or lower rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that improves visible signs of aging in the jawline and neck. This includes the removal of excess fat and skin relaxation in the lower face that creates jowls, excess fatty deposits under the chin, loose neck skin and muscle banding in the neck. The result is a sculpted, firmer, more youthful looking jawline and neck.
