Skin and Minimally Invasive

BOTOX® Cosmetic

Injections eliminate wrinkles by causing facial muscles to relax, resulting in a smoother skin surface. BOTOX® Cosmetic is also used to reduce excessive underarm sweating.

Sciton® Halo™ - Hybrid Fractional Laser

This hybrid fractional laser is used for skin resurfacing. Sciton Halo uses both nonablative and ablative wavelengths to cause turnover of the outer layers of the skin, resulting in renewed appearance. The advantage is less downtime compared to traditional laser resurfacing.

We also have the BroadBand Light (BBL) function available, which is an intense pulsed light product used for pigment improvement and vascular lesions/acne. It can also be used for hair removal.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM is a non-invasive injectable that can be used for a variety of treatments, such as lips and wrinkles. Some types of JUVÉDERM have been designed for deeper injection and filling of the cheek (VOLUMA), in addition to VOLLURE for standard wrinkles and lines around the face, and VOLBELLA, which is intended for the lips and finer lines.

The types of JUVÉDERM include:

Kybella®

Restylane® and Perlane®

Injections temporarily correct facial wrinkles and folds, depressions in the skin, scarring and restore the lip border. Results from these injections can last for approximately six to eight months.

Radiesse

A longer lasting dermal filler that is injected into the skin to soften creases or folds and support areas of volume loss or contour specific facial areas.

Sclerotherapy

A popular treatment for spider veins of the legs. After an initial consultation, eligible candidates undergo injections of concentrated saline into these veins. This causes these veins to lighten over subsequent months. Multiple treatments may be required.

Chemical Peels

Bring the benefits of alpha-hydroxy acids to improve skin texture and tone, lessen fine lines and bring about a healthier more youthful appearance. Results are achieved through a series of peels.

Earlobe Repair

Earlobe repair can be done to repair torn, stretched or damaged earlobes, which can result of trauma or from wear and tear due to heavy jewelry. Split earlobe reconstruction can be performed in the office.

Lesion Excision

Excision of unwanted growths can be performed for cosmetic purposes. People often decide to remove moles or other lesions for aesthetic reasons because of their appearance or location.

In some cases, a mole might be removed and examined for cancerous cells, especially if there are irregular characteristics. If there is suspicion for malignancy, the lesion should be assessed by a dermatologist or other physician.

Lesion removal can be performed for either medical or cosmetic purposes. This may be determined at the consultation.

Scar Revision

Scars can be a source of embarrassment, discomfort or even pain, and can sometimes impact range of motion. Scar revision surgery can reduce the appearance of scars resulting from burns, lacerations, surgery, chicken pox or acne, along with relieving feelings of embarrassment or discomfort caused by these skin flaws. The procedure makes scars less visible, and is ideal for treatment of keloid scars, hypertrophic scars and contractures. Scar revision surgery can help you feel more confident about your appearance.

  • Keloid Scars
Keloid scars are when the skin tissue becomes thick and puckered. These scars grow past the edge of your wound and are typically red or darker than the surrounding skin.
  • Hypertrophic Scars
Hypertrophic scars are similar in appearance to keloid scars. They are thick and raised above the skin, but they stay within the outline of your original wound.
  • Contractures
Contractures are scars that occur when a large area of skin is lost, such as a burn. As the skin pulls together to close the wound, this can impact the adjustment of local muscles and may restrict movement.
