Important Updates/Resources for International Students
We recognizes that this may be a time of uncertainty for the UConn community, with recent changes in immigration enforcement and policy raising understandable concerns. We value our global community, and we are here to support you. Please visit our new “Support for UConn’s International Community” website containing information, guidance, and resources necessary to understand federal immigration updates and university policies and guidance related to these changes. We encourage you to review the resources available on this website, including links to relevant University departments, as they may contain detailed information and guidance applicable to your circumstances.
The page will be updated regularly with new information and resources as they become available.
Additionally, visit the Federal Immigrations Updates page for current information and FAQs related to changes to federal policies, including the upcoming changes regarding the Department of Homeland Security Final Rule to Eliminate Duration of Status.
If you are an international student or scholar on a visa sponsored by UCHC, always feel free to reach out to the UCH International Office with any questions about your immigration status or current recommendations/guidelines: dornenburg@uchc.edu and akader@uchc.edu
